From My Smile To Yours: Sing That Bridge, Don’t Wear It

by Andrew Mueller, DMD, MD | Sep 26, 2024

Rudy is known to be a natural “people person” with a joyous spirit. It was very important for him to be able to talk, laugh, smile and sing without feeling embarrased or self-conscious of his teeth. He knew, “The first thing people notice when they are going to talk to you is your smile”, and Rudy did not feel confident about his own. He was determined to make a change and feel confident once again. He decided to choose Doctors Implants to make a change and with the 6 Hour Smile his confidence was returned.

Rudy grew up in a large family, where everyone tends to take care of each other including the people in the neighborhood. He believes help should be passed on which is why he loves sharing his smile journey, “If me telling my story would encourage somebody to do something for themselves, something that they need, I’m happy for it.”

Wake Up. Go to Dentists. Repeat

Rudy was very familiar with all of the temporary dental fixes such as, fillings, crowns and root canals, but it all felt exhausting after time. He wanted the solution to be quick and easy, but instead he found himself constantly going to dental visits with no real progress. He believed there had to be a solution to help him break the cycle .

He knew this was affecting his life and confidence but later realized it was also affecting the people around him. He remembers watching a patient in a Doctors Implants commercial speaking of family interactions and immediately connected it to a key moment in his life. He could still picture the day his granddaughter looked at him and said “papa you don’t have any teeth”, which broke his heart and became the determining factor for him to seek help with Doctors Implants. He smiles and says, “She loves papa now, you would be surprised how the little things are impacted as a result of this self improvement”.

Trust

Rudy knew that most dental appointments entail anxiety, stress and fear of the unknown. Doctors Implants changed this experience for him, he was put at ease the minute he walked through the door. He felt welcomed, heard and seen through his consultation. What impacted Rudy the most was the trust his wife displayed from the start, “my wife is very analytical, but everything made her feel at ease , when you’ve made my wife that secure you have done your job”, he grins.

Apples, Nuts & Ice

Rudy had long wished to be able to eat “apples, nuts and ice”, and after the 6-hour smile, that possibility was now reachable. He says. “All the things I had neglected that were a part of my childhood to now seeing this point, I can say living is more enjoyable”. Rudy wanted to be his best self and knew the importance of taking care of you. “It’s hard not being able to be who you are when you know you can be better. I was ready to evolve from how it was to how it is. It’s a blessing.”

He encourages others to pass this knowledge along, and obtain all the information Doctors Implants can provide.  Rudy explains consultations can help you make the first step, “Don’t put off the advice, the information is painless therefore why not go and get information. You don’t have to sit in the chair that day, you don’t need to have anything done to you that day, at least you have the insight to make an informed decision about what you can and can not do”.
